April 15, 2019
Easter is just around the corner, which means families living in and around the apartments for rent in Riverside, CA, will be flocking to Glendale for its annual Spring Eggstravaganza. The community egg hunt is an excellent way to entertain your little ones and happens to be one of the most popular in the area. If you’re interested in going this year, then here’s everything you need to know.
Dates, Times, and Ticket Prices
The Spring Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 13th this year at the Pacific Community Center. Activities take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Community Center’s address is:
501 S. Pacific Avenue
Best of all, this event is open to the public for free. That’s right! Thank to the Glendale Community Services and Parks association, you don’t have a pay a dime for tickets. All you need to do is show up with your children and enjoy the festivities.
What to Expect
This year’s annual Eggstravaganza has plenty in store for children ages two to twelve. Aside from the egg hunt itself, there will be a variety of carnival-style games to keep the fun going. Kids can jump around in the bounce house, get their faces painted, and even enjoy a little indoor-style rock climbing with the Glendale Rocks! climbing wall.
In-between activities, kids can get their picture takes with the Easter Bunny. The main attraction, however, is the Easter egg hunt. This is a BYOB (bring your own basket) hunt, and the schedule is as follows:
- 10:30 a.m. – Four years old and younger
- 10:50 – Five years old
- 11:10 – Six years old
- 11:30 – Seven years old
- 12:10 p.m. – Eight years old
- 12:25 – Ten years old
- 12:40 – Eleven and twelve year olds
Adults and children over thirteen are not allowed on the field after the 10:50 a.m. hunt begins. Those with children four and under are, of course, encouraged to help their little ones hunt for eggs.
Parking and Other Information
You can find plenty of parking at the Community Center, which eliminates the stress of hunting down a space. If you have any other questions, it’s best to contact the center to find the answers you need.
